Recombinant Human THBS4 Protein

Product Name: Recombinant Human THBS4 Protein
Catalog #:  HRP-1105
Manufacture:  LD Biopharma, Inc.
Intruduction:

The protein encoded by human thrombospondin 4 (THBS4) gene belongs to the thrombospondin protein family. Thrombospondin family members are adhesive glycoproteins that mediate cell-to-cell and cell-to-matrix interactions. This protein forms a pentamer and can bind to heparin and calcium. Studies of the rat counterpart suggest that this protein may be involved in local signaling in the developing and adult nervous system.

Full-length mature human THBS4 cDNA (27–961aa, derived from BC050456) was constructed with codon optimization and expressed with a small T7-His-TEV cleavage site Tag (29aa) fusion at its N-terminal. This protein is expressed in E.coli as inclusion bodies. The final product was refolded using our unique “temperature shift inclusion body refolding” technology and chromatographically purified.
